Navarra Asparagus (ESPÁRRAGO DE NAVARRA) is a Protected Origin variety. “Asparagus Officinalis” by its scientific name, is cultivated in the areas of Navarra, Aragón and La Rioja, in Spain. It is a white asparagus, with a soft texture, close to no or few fibers, and a perfect taste between softness and bitterness. This makes the Navarra Asparagus an exceptional asparagus comparable to no other. They are submitted to strict quality control rules, peeled by hand, then blanched and cooled, and finally sorted by size prior to sterilization and packing.
